Rig Condition Surveys

DSL undertakes rig inspections, condition surveys, rig selection inspections and audits worldwide. Our detailed surveys provide the information you need to make an informed decision when hiring or buying a rig, and our industry accreditations for rig manufacture and upgrade give you confidence that the company evaluating your rig has the experience and in-house resources to back its findings.

Reports are produced through our bespoke inspection and certification database, RigCentral. Reporting is compiled on an ongoing basis during the inspection using ATEX-rated tablets, enabling surveyors to photograph, record and comment on each item as they go — eliminating much of the time needed for conventional report compilation and reducing the cost of your survey.

When evaluating a shortlist of inspected rigs, RigCentral enables direct comparison of the rigs, their equipment portfolios and their inspection results as part of your selection process. Survey scopes can be combined with dropped-object and lifting-equipment inspections in a single mobilisation.
