DSL provides drilling contractors with an on-site testing and calibration service for temperature units, pressure units and pressure safety/relief valves, in accordance with international codes and manufacturers' recommended practices.
Testing is carried out in customised 10ft x 8ft containers, purpose-built by DSL to create a safe, controlled laboratory environment on site. Because the containers are self-sufficient, DSL inspection personnel remain independent of rig workshops, resources and equipment — ensuring a consistently high standard of inspection and maintenance of pressure relief valves.
All our PRV technicians are full-time DSL employees, experienced in fluid and air pressure testing and with working knowledge of API and ASME standards.
