Lifting Equipment Inspection

DSL provides periodic inspection of all cranes and lifting equipment, including drilling equipment and tools, pedestal and overhead cranes, ROV and dive spreads, fixed lifting equipment, lifeboat and life-raft launch and recovery systems, and loose lifting gear. Proof load testing is provided to client requirements, and DSL engineers are qualified to perform any associated NDT work.

All equipment inspected is entered into a database conforming with LOLER 1998, generating the certificates and reports required by the relevant standards, with a web-based facility for viewing and printing reports online. All our inspection engineers are rope-access trained, so equipment at height is never an issue and the requirement for scaffolding is eliminated.
