DSL has a comprehensive in-house engineering resource covering electrical, mechanical and structural disciplines, supported by the latest design software. Our permanent engineering teams undertake work-scopes across a broad spectrum of systems — from power generation and mud systems to drilling structures and rig moving.

Rig upgrades and refurbishment projects constantly challenge our teams to improve operations and systems, and it is exposure to such projects that continually increases our ability to provide effective solutions for your rig.

Drilling structures are part of our core business, and you will find a wealth of experience applicable to the design, modification, re-certification and validation of new and used derricks, masts and substructures, both onshore and offshore. For projects such as general fabrication we can design your requirements in-house or provide additional engineering and draughting support to your own teams.
