As derricks get older, the capacity and integrity of derrick bolts becomes questionable. Derrick bolts that have been re-torqued during their life, after being torqued during the building of the derrick, are no longer within specification and, in accordance with those specifications, should be replaced.
DSL supplies and installs replacement derrick bolts for your derrick. We can also create bolt lists and bolt maps for your derrick where, as is often the case, such information is no longer available.
