CTF Tunisia
This project is probably one of the best projects to demonstrate our overall range and depth of offshore engineering and offshore construction capabilities, especially in "remote" locations. DSL were contracted, and successfully completed the following Offshore Tunisia as well as Onshore. Our services provided included;
The Project
To decommission and dismantle the Derrick Equipment Set, Power Generation and Mud Treatment Package from Platform 5, Onshore Upgrade and Refurbishment Program and Installation, outfitting and commissioning Offshore North Africa to Platform 06.
Upon Establishment of the agreed work scope with the customer CTF and the Operator Serept, DSL undertook the following;
- Site Survey
- Detailed planning of Offshore Decommissioning Phase, Refurbishment and Offshore Hook Up
- Decommission and Dismantle of the Drilling Package
- Platform Topsides Decommissioning
- Offshore Structural Engineering
- Onshore Upgrade & Refurbishment
- Replacement of Mud Tanks
- Design & Supply new support structure for power generation
- Replacement of all HP Piping
- Replacement of all Wiring
- Offshore Hook Up & Commissioning
- DNV Certification of Drilling Systems
