After a customer damaged the A-frame cantilever legs on a Dreco Slingshot rig during rig up, our Singapore workshop surveyed, designed and fabricated API 4F replacements ready for delivery within 15 days of the initial survey.

A customer damaged the A-frame cantilever legs on a Dreco Slingshot rig during rig up, leaving the rig unable to be raised and out of work.

Replacement components had to be designed, fabricated and machined to API 4F specifications as quickly as possible, without any compromise on quality.

On receiving the call, DSL immediately dispatched a survey crew to assess the damage and establish the full scope of works needed to get the rig back to work.

Using the survey information, our team produced the fabrication drawings and our Singapore facility fabricated and machined the replacement A-frames to API 4F specifications. DSL then provided an engineer on site to oversee installation of the components and the raising of the rig.
